Taken the data from 1972 to 2025 : 53Years

1.)  From 1972  to 1973 it rallied from  60 to  126 & corrected  almost 50%

 

 

 2.) From 1973 to 1974 it rallied from 90  to  195 .& corrected almost 48% till 1976

 

3.) From Aug1976 to Jan 1980 XauUsd rallied from 100 to 873 and from Jan 1980 to Jun1982 it corrected more than 65%

 

 

 

(4) From June 1982 to Jan1983 Rallied from 297 to 519 & corrected by more than 100% from 519 to 282 from Jan1983 to Feb 1983

 

 

 

 

 

(5) From Feb 1985 to Dec1987 rallied from 282 to 507 and then corrected by more than 35%  from Dec 1987 to Mar 1993

 

 

 

 

 

6.)  From Mar1993 to Feb1996 rallied from 325 to 419 and then corrected from Feb1996 to Aug 1999 XauUsd corrected by 40%

(7) From Aug1999  to Mar2008 XauUsd gave the largest rally of 310% from 252 to 1032 & then it  corrected by  almost 34% from the high of 1032 to 681

(9)From Dec2015 to Mar2022 XauUsd rallied from  1046 to 2070 & corrected  by almost 50% from Mar2022 to Oct2022

 

 

 

(10)  From Oct2022 till Oct 2025$ 1617 to $ 3991 and still counting…

Mercury & Mars Conjunction on 18^th Oct2025 (This aspect produces Bearish results 8 out 10 times).

Price Range is  Squaring at 4114 which is also a Palindrome level.
Square of Nine level is standing at 4096
So, in the coming days the range from 4097 to 4114 is going to play an important role in the coming days.

What does the historical data suggests about the next correction?

If the calculations are right then in the coming days XauUsd should give a descent correction. Longs are not advised  here. Or one should keep a Cautious approach while taking longs in this asset class.
